Principle   

Bovine ephemeral fever is caused by arthropod-borne bovine ephemeral fever virus (BEFV), which affects cattle and water buffalo. the BEFV spreads quickly and has extensive epidemicity as well as certain periodicity. In China, the BEFV occurs in many provinces and regions and leads to significant economic losses for cattle, dairy cattle, water buffaloes and even yak. At present, the primary means of prevention and control of BEF is vaccination. In the world, the inactivated vaccine (BEFV/JB76H strain) was mainly used to control BEFV. this kit can be used for immune evaluation and epidemiological investigations of BEFV.
