Active Substance:
Terlipressinis a synthetic analog of vasopressin and is used as a vasoactive drug in themanagement of hypotension. 
Terlipressin represents a prodrug, it is converted to (Lys8)- vasopressin (LVP)after removal of the N-terminal triglycine in vivo. Terlipressin has a longerduration of action and a better safety profile than the parent compound
