Black aluminium oxide, is a type of fused aluminum oxide, named by its black color. It's made of bauxite and Fe2O3 in tilting electric furnaces. It has lower content of Aluminum Oxide(Al2O3) and certain content of Fe2O3(about 10%).
It's mainly used for free abrasives and polishing on metal, stainless steel, wood, bamboo etc.and also abrasives grains for production of resin bonded abrasives tools and coated abrasives products. with its hardness and strength, it is also an good sandblasting media
