Chrome oxide green is also called chromium oxide,molecular weight is 151.99,in hexagonal system,light green or dark green powder.Bulk density is 5.21g/cm 3,melting point is 2265,boiling point is 3654.Chrome oxide green is insoluble in water,acid or organic solvent,but can be slightly soluble in concentrated sodium hydroxide solution,soluble in hot sodium bromate solution,hot concentrated perchloric acid solution or boiling sulphur&phosphorus mixed acid.

Application:
through high temperature burning, chrome oxide green of acid showed inertia of acid and alkali, is great refractory material. Usually added to corundum or corundum spinel refractory materials, can significantly improve the performance of high temperature strength, slag resistance, ect. It mainly used in non-ferrous smelting industry, petrochemical industry, glass industry and also in castable, ramming material, and other unshaped refractory materials.
