Fluoxy-mesterone,sold under the brand names Halotestin and Ultandren among others,is a synthetic,orally activeandrogenic-anabolic steroid (AAS) and a 17-alkylated derivative of testosterone.
Uses:
It is or has been used in the treatment of hypogonadism in males and breast cancer in women.
Activity:
Halotestin has a relatively high ratio of androgenic to anabolic activity similarly to testosterone.like many 17-alkylated AAS,it has relatively low affinity for the androgen receptor (AR).however,its actions are mediated by the AR,most likely due to its relatively long elimination half-life of approximately 9.2 hours.It is approximately five times as potent as an AAS as testosterone.Unlike testosterone,halotestin has a 100% oral bioavailability,as the methylation of the C17 position of fluoxymesterone inhibits hepatic metabolism by enzymatic oxidation of 17-hydroxyl,allowing its absorption into the bloodstream for transport around the body.

Halotestin  is a testosterone derived anabolic androgenic steroid or more specifically a structurally altered form of Methyltestosterone.Halotestin is the testosterone hormone with an added methyl group at the 17thcarbon position to allow oral ingestion.It also possesses an added fluoro group at carbon 9 and 3 and a hydroxyl group at carbon 11.these modifications inhibit the steroid's aromatization and greatly increase its androgenic nature.The androgenic nature and activity of Halotestin will be far beyond Methyltestosterone.
