Can you make 800mm or 1 meter long linear stepper?
Yes, BUT we do Not.
1. If you have experience with ball screw linear slide, you may know linear support unit. Long lead screw or ball screw, the weight of itself would be heavier than the motor which will cause mounting problem. In the other side, too long integrated linear stepper, it's hard to control the backlash n jumping.
2. Shipping problems: 1 or 2pcs is Not easy to pack and shipping cost is much higher than the linear stepper.
