Part 1. Product Introduction
The CX series offers outstanding features in this class. In addition to sophisticated PWM charge regulation with integrated temperature compensation, the CX controllers provide substantial display, programming, and safety functions. The battery state of charge is clearly displayed by means of a bar graph, as well as energy flow from and to the battery and the load status (e.g. overload, load short circuit).
The deep discharge protection function can be set to five different modes: two voltage-controlled, two SOC-controlled,

Part 7. Function Description
1. Display function:
In normal operation mode of the controller displays the state of charge(avaiable energy) fo the battery. Any charne of the state of the charge (SOC) to a low status is addtionally signalled acoustically.
System conditions are displayed as follows: The percentage corresponds to the available energy until Low Voltage Disconnect in relation to a fully charged battery. In normal operation the loads can be switched on and off by pushing the button.
This is the indicaed in the display: 2. Low Voltage Disconnect Function
The controller has 5 different modes to protect the battery from being deep discharged.
Mode 1: Disconnect at 11.4V (at nominal load current ) up to 11.9V (at no load current). Normal operation mode for good battery protection
Mode 2: Disconnect at 11.0V (at nominal load current ) up to 11.75V (at no load current). Mode with power disconnection point. Battery is cycled deeper, this can shorten battery lifetime.
Mode 3: Disconnect at 11.0V up to 12.2V depending on load current and previous charging cycles. This adaptive mode leads to longer lifetime of the battery, because it allows recovery of the battery by full recharge.Maximum battery lifetime.
Mode 4: Disconnect at11.5V fixed setting. Appropriate if passby loads draw current directly from battery.
Mode 5: Disconnect at 11.0V fised setting. Mode with lower disconnection point.
3. Datalogger
The CX cntroller provides a built-in datalogger. The datalogger gathers 1 year performance data of your PV system, includes the Max. and Min. battery voltage, battery state of charge, max. charging current and max. load current, etc. System performance can be easily analyzed with these historical data, thus helping you to know your PV system better.
