Specifications
MPPT 100/30 (30A) Maximum Power Point Point Tracker, 12/24V Auto-ID Charge Controller for Industry and Communication System
Part 1. About MPPT 100/30 (30A) Maximum Power Point Tracer / MPPT Charge Controller:
With innovative maximum-power-point -tracking technology, Marsrock' MPPT-Tracker ensure maximum performanc from your solar array at all times and in all weather conditions. The MPPT 100/30 can yield an energy gain from your PV array (up to 30%). When a Central Unit is used, up to 8 MPPTs can be used together in one system. The charge regulation is then done data bus by the Central Unit. This will enable you to increase your system capacity substantially. The temperature-compensated three-stage I-U curve charge regulation algorithm significantly extends the lifespan of your battery. The possiblity to use less expensive grid-feed-in solar panels with up to 95V open circuit voltage for 12V or 24V stand-alone system will significantly reduce the cost of the total system.
Besides, by our new MPPT Maximum Power Point Tracker, you can own a state-of-the art device which was developed according to the latest available technical standards. It comes with a number of outanding features, such as:
1. Maximum Power Point Tracking technology increase the efficiency of your PV System;
2. Less expensive solar-panels for grid-feed-in systems now can be used for 12/24V off-grid systems;
3. Electronic protection ( Reverse Polarity; Over-current; Short-circuit; Overtemperature);
4. High efficiency;
5. DIN rail compatible;
6. Negative grounding.
Part 2. MPPT 100/30 (30A) Major Functions:
1. The MPPT charges your battery much faster than a regular charge cntroller;
2. The MPPT protect the battery from being overcharged by the solar array. The charging characteristics include several stages
which includes automatic adaptation to the ambient temeprature;
3. The MPPT adjusts itself automatically to 12V or 24V system voltage;
4. The MPPT has a number of safety and dispay functions.

Part 4. Product Mounting and Connecting:
1. The MPPT is intended for indoor use only . Protect it from direct sunlight and place i in a dry enviroment. Never install it in humid rooms (like bathrooms);
2. The MPPT measures the ambient temperature to determine the charging voltage. The MPPT and teh battery must be installed in the same room.
3. The MPPT warms up during operation, and should therefore be installed on a non-flammable surface only.
NOTE: Connect the MPPT by following the steps describled below to avoid installation problems,

Part 6. Safety Recommendations:
1. Batteries store a large amount of energy. Under no circumstances, never short-circuit a batter. We recommend connecting a fuse (slow acting type, according to the nominal regulator current) directly to the battery terminal;
2. Batteries can produce flammable gases. Avoid making sparks, or using fire or any open flame around the battery. Make sure the battery room is ventilated;
3. Avoid touching or short circuiting wires or terminals. Be aware that the voltages on specific terminal or wire can be as much as 95V. Use isolated tools, stand on dry ground, and keep your hands dry;
4. Keep children away from batteries adn the charge regulator;
5. Please observe the safety recommendations of the battery manufacture. If in doudt, consult your dealer or installer.
