Protection:

1.                    PV Reverse Polarity Protection

Fully protection against PV reverse polarity, do no damage to the controller. Correct the miswire to resume normal operation.

2.        Battery Reverse Polarity Protection

Battery reverse connection is the controller automatically in the state of the protection, actually the battery is no together with the system, which realize the maximize protection.

3.        Battery Over Charge Protection

When charging, once the battery voltage reaches the preset voltage, the controller will automatically turn into float charge, which keeps the battery in the best condition.

4.        Battery Over Discharge Protection

When discharging, once the battery voltage reaches the preset voltage, the controller will automatically cut off the discharging circuit, which avoids the overcharge damage of the battery.

5.        Output Over Current and Short Circuit Protection

The output includes the system output (the load output terminal) and the extensional output (the USB and DC output).

When the extensional output (the USB and DC output) over current and short circuit occurs, the controller will protect itself. But it won’t affect the system output. After 3 seconds the controller will automatically return to work, if the troubleshooting has finished.

When the load output terminal over current and short circuit occurs, the system output and the extensional output will enter into the protection state, then the load output indicator flickers. The controller would automatically cut-off all the output. After 10 seconds the controller will automatically return to work, if the troubleshooting has finished.
