Overview:
MB450A Subdivision-phase hybrid step motor driver , DC 18~50V power supply suitable for driving voltage 24V~ 50V Current is less than 4 .2A Outer diameter 42 ~86 mm of two-phase hybrid stepping motor. This drive using current loop control of AC servo drive and motor torque fluctuations are small, low speed operation is very smooth , almost no noise and vibration. High speed torque is also significantly higher than the other two drives, high positioning accuracy. Widely used in engraving machine, CNC machine tools, packaging machinery, and other devices with high resolution requirements.

Control signal definitions
PLS+ : Step pulse signal input positive or positive step pulse signal input positive
PLS- : Step pulse signals enter a negative or positive step pulse signal input negative terminal
DIR+ : Step into the direction positive or negative step signal input pulse signal input end
DIR- : Step into the direction of signal input negative terminal or negative step pulse signal input negative terminal
ENA+ : Offline enable reset signal input positive
ENA- : Offline enable reset signal input negative terminal
Offline enable signal effectively reset the drive failure, and no effective pulse, drive the output power devices is turned off, motor keep torque.
Note: VCC to 5V Shi,r short;
VCC Values for 12V Shi,r 1K, is greater than the 1/8W resistance;
VCC For 24V Shi,r 2K, is greater than the 1/8W resistance;
R End must be connected to the controller signals

Set the number of motor steps per revolution
Drive motor steps per revolution can be set separately for the 400and the800, and1000, and1600, and2000and the3200, and4000, and5000, and6400, and 8000, and10000, and12800, and20000, and25000and the25600 steps. Users can drive front panel on dip switch SW5, andSW6, andSW7, andSW8 to set the number of drives (table 1):

Control mode selection
Dip switch SW4 -bit can be set in two modes:
When set to "OFF" when for half a function.
When set to "ON", the half-free streaming.
Set the output of the current
Different torque stepping motor to drive, users can drive front-panel dip switches SW1, andSW2, andSW3 to set the drive's output current (RMS) amp, switch position corresponds to the output current, the output current value is different for the different types of drives. As shown in table 2.

Half function
Half stream means no step pulse 500ms Hou, drive rated output current output current is automatically reduced to 70%to prevent motor heating.
Power interface:
+V And theGND: connect drive power
+V : DC power stage, power supply voltage DC 18~50V.
GND : DC Power level.
A+ A- B+ B- : Connect the two phase hybrid stepping motor
Two-phase hybrid stepping motor and drive are connected by four-wire, motor windings are connected in parallel and serial connections and joining method, high-speed performance, but the drive current ( for motor winding current of 1.73 times ),
Series connection drive current equal to the motor winding current.

Status lights indicate
RUN : Green light is working correctly.
ERR : The Red fault light, motor phase short circuit, over voltage and under voltage protection.
