Specifications
Precautions:
1. The DM556 driver is designed to drive 57 86 two-phase stepper motors
2. DM556 driver default pulse + direction control mode, the use of dual-pulse control mode requires internal jumpers. Pulse signal is 5V, if it is 24V pulse PLC, etc., need to string 2K 1 / 4W resistance
3. DM556 driver 1 2 3 DIP setting current, 4 DIP setting full flow half-flow function, 5 6 7 8 DIP setting subdivision.
4. DM556 drive can replace the old ND556 drive. Wiring, installation is fully compatible, smooth noise better.
5. DM556 general use 24V switching power supply, you can estimate the power of 200W.
6. General It is recommended that the drive output current (current sharing) setting is approximately the same as or slightly smaller than the motor rated current.
The main application areas
For a variety of small and medium-sized automated equipment and instruments, such as: engraving machine, marking machine, cutting machine, laser Phototypesetting, plotter, CNC machine tools, automatic assembly equipment. In the user expectations of small noise, high-speed equipment in the application of special effects
Instructions
The number of microsteps is set
SW5-SW8 four DIP switches to set the drive micro-step breakdown of the number of its total 16-step micro-step breakdown. When the user sets micro-step subdivision, the drive should be stopped. For details on setting the microstep, please refer to the drive layout.
Output current setting
SW1-SW3 three DIP switches to set the drive output current, the output current of a total of 8 files. For details on setting the output current, please refer to the driver layout.
Automatic half-flow function
SW4 can be used to set the automatic semi-flow function of the drive. Off indicates that the quiescent current is set to half the dynamic current, and on indicates that the quiescent current is the same as the dynamic current. General purpose SW4 should be set to off, making the motor and drive the heat to reduce reliability. About 0.4 seconds after the stop of the pulse current is automatically reduced to about half (60% of the actual value), calorific value theoretically reduced to 36%.
Signal interface
PUL + and PUL- are the positive and negative terminals of the control pulse signal; DIR + and DIR- are the positive and negative terminals of the directional signal; ENA + and ENA- are the positive and negative terminals of the enable signal.
Motor interface
A + and A- are connected to the positive and negative terminals of the A-phase winding of the stepping motor; B + and B- are connected to the positive and negative terminals of the B-phase winding of the stepping motor. When A, B two-phase winding exchange, the direction of the motor can be reversed.
Power supply interface
DC power supply, the working voltage range is recommended for the 20-50VDC, power supply greater than 200W.
Indicator light
The drive has two red and green lights. The green light is the power indicator, the green light is on when the driver is powered on. The red light is the fault indicator. When the overvoltage or overcurrent fault occurs, the fault light is on. Fault cleared, the red light off. When the drive fails, the fault can only be cleared by re-energizing and re-enabling it.
Installation Notes
Drive dimensions: 118 × 75.5 × 33mm, the installation hole distance of 109mmmm. Both horizontal and vertical installation, the proposed vertical installation. Install it so that it fits snugly against the metal cabinet for heat dissipation.
