TB05 thermal protector has small size/ Quick action/Long Life and so on, widely used in battery pack, Lithium protection board, Water pump motor, electric appliances, fluorescent ballast, transformer, auto motor, IC and general electrical equipment, double protection of overheating and over-current. Operating temperature is 30-155.
Working Principle
TB05 series small thermal protector is a bimetallic strip that acts as a heat sensitive response element. When the temperature or current is increased when the heat transfer to the two metal sheets, and reaches a predetermined temperature value, it moves quickly, the contact will be disconnected, the circuit is cut off. When the temperature drops to a predetermined reset the set value, the bimetal quickly restored, the contact is closed, and the circuit will be connected again.
