Nifethal 42 is a nickel-iron alloy (NiFe alloy) for use at temperatures up to 600C (1110F). the alloys has a moderate constant thermal expansion factor up to 300C (570F).
Typical applications for Nifethal 42 are in high-temperature thermostats in, for example, gas and electric stoves.
