Introduction:

Aspartame is an artificial, non-saccharide sweetener used as a sugar substitute in some foods and beverages. It is 200 times sweeter than sugar in terms of sweetness. It does not cause after bitter taste.

Features:

  • Aspartame sweetness could be perceived shortly and it does not last long
  • Aspartame sweetener tastes fresh and mostly similar to sucrose. It is not stable under light and heat. It will resolve and lose sweetness after long heating, but it is stable at low temperature and under PH value 3-5
  • It is suitable for fresh drink and the food without heating

Aspartame is used in the manufacture of many sugar-free, low calorie and dietary products:
