this Pre-filter usually matched with Our Water Ionizer QWI-005/007/009/011(Optional according to the local water quality); with the first two PP filters and the third fiber activated carbon filter(all are NSF stanard). PP filter can filter out solid matters such as rust and sands etc. And for fiber activated carbon filter from Fibredyne with model number C-245, it is used to filter out remaining chlorine, organic compound, pesticide and heavy metal etc.
Two reasons to use pre-filter: 1. Guarantee water quality produced; 2. Prevent electrolysis chamber from crystallizing.
