Green plum blossom, deciduous tree, many green twigs, spiny branches, glabrous, alternate leaves, wide ovate to ovate, 4-10cm long, 3-5.5cm wide, apex long acuminate, base wide wedge-shaped or nearly round, margin serrulate, light color below, hair on both sides when tender, only hair on the lower vein when old; petiole hairy, stipule early falling. Flowers 1-2 in clusters, first leaves open, fragrant, sepals 5, often purplish red, often not fold back after flowers; petals 5, white, red or light red, some double; stamens many, carpel 1, densely pubescent. Drupe subglobose, flat on both sides, longitudinal groove, 2-3cm in diameter, yellow when ripe, pubescent. the flowering period is 3 months, and the fruiting period is 5-6 months.
