the C615M product is an infrared opto-electronic device sensitive to radiation in the 3.7 to 4.8 micrometer spectral region. It includes a high-sensitivity focal plane array (FPA) comprised of a 640512 element two dimensional detector array made of photovoltaic (PV) Mercury Cadmium Telluride (HgCdTe/MCT) connected to a Silicon readout integrate circuit (ROIC) by indium bump technology, and a 0.5 Watt Stirling cycle rotary microcooler integrated into a metal dewar.
