Features
(a) Short Circuit Protection - in the event of a short circuit in the headpiece or cable, the battery protective plate will cut off the power supply in 15Ms. If, for any reason, this protection fails to operate, the current limiting resistance and Quick-acting fuse will restrict the current to meet the requirements of the intrinsicAlly Safe standard.
(b) over-Current Protection - in the case of an abnormal current increase, the battery protective plate will cut off the Power supply in 15Ms. If, for any reason, this protection fails to operate, the current limiting resistance and quick acting Fuse will restrict the short circuit to meet the requirements of the intrinsic safety standard.
(c) Battery PRotection - iN addition to the above, over-current and over-heating protective PTC devices is built into the battery.
