The RS Pro “AP” series connectors have been developed to withstand the rigours of ’on-the-road” use in professional amplifier/loudspeaker equipment. Supplied as line and panel mounting plug and socket versions, all connectors are available in 4, 6 and 8 contact arrangements. Connector construction is of rugged moulded thermoplastic. The line connector shell features a 1 piece latch and contact insert assembly. An enlarged cable entry and convenient internal grub screw clamping enables easy assembly and the capability to retain multiple cables tightly and securely. There are no loose parts. The bushing is designed to minimise cable bending stress and prevent moisture ingress.
The panel mount connectors are sealed for simplified loudspeaker cabinet design. The latch system design enables “AP” series audio connectors to offer positive, vibration resistant mating.
