The SD series relay gives the option of an all-vehicle remote disconnect switch. It is ideally suited for applications with continuous high-current, large engine starting needs or high ambient temperatures. It utilises small control cables for operation eliminating the need to run heavy, expensive copper cables to the operator.

This dual pole item enables switching of two circuits, positive and negative or 12 V and 24 V. It is SAE J1171 ignition protected and ISO 8846 rated for instillation in a battery box or on vehicles carrying hazardous loads. It also has a dedicated 24-hour output for tachograph and other keep-alive functions.
