Specifications
The HD series Bi-Stable relay is a remotely operated disconnect for high amperage vehicle circuits. It is rated to 300 A continuous and 1500 A inrush for 10 seconds. The Bi-Stable (latched) operation of the device is extremely efficient drawing no current in the On or Off positions elimination continuous demand on the batteries.
It is sealed to IP67 allowing the unit to be placed outside the cab with the switch placed inside for operator control. This allows reduced use of heavy, costly copper cabling usually routed from the battery, to the cab then to the auxiliary loads. The switch is purchased separately and two relays are available for either 12 V or 24 V circuits.
