These BNX series MIL-C-38999 Bandstrap adaptors are used with a corrosion resistant steel band (must be ordered separately - see stock number 765-0312) and are designed to terminate a braided cable shield to a connector (Raychem code 40 D38999 connector (see note). The resulting 360° termination creates an electrical connection and provides screen continuity between braid and adaptor. The terminated cable can then be sealed and protected using a heat-shrinkable moulded boot. The bodies of these BNX MIL-C-38999 band strap adapters have a straight alignment and are made from aluminum alloy per QQ-A-225. and are available in a choice of finishes;
