Specifications
From Molex the 33A-100-10 data wiring tester, designed to check the integrity of 2, 3 and 4 pair UTP and STP channels. With a unique 3-in-1 design the sturdy tester features built-in modular jack connectors for USOC, 568A and 568B wiring sequences.
The robust multi-function cable tester comprises of two handheld parts, the master unit and the remote unit. This provides a convenient method for end-to-end testing of pre-installed cabling. By connecting the master and the slave unit to each end of the cable the tester automatically verifies the correct wiring sequence. A continuously sequencing LED display gives a clear visual indication of any shorts opens, reversals and mis-wire within the wiring system
Powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery this portable tester is an essential piece of test equipment for any design, installation or test engineers toolbox
Built-in modular jacks on both units for testing USOC, 568A and 568B cabling
Verification of correct wiring sequence
Pin-point accuracy of cable continuity and sequencing of 1, 2, 3 and 4 pair shielded and unshielded twisted pair cabling
The LED display provides a clear view and visual indication of mis-wires, shorts, open circuit and reversed wiring
Manufactured from high-quality impact resistant materials
A compact and lightweight device
Master and remote units conveniently snap and lock together when not in use
Proximity switch disconnects the battery when not in use saving valuable power.
Requires a 9 volt alkaline battery see part number 826-4435
