The MX-5051 addresses through-hole de-soldering, general soldering, and SMD rework applications. The system includes two hand-pieces. The Metcal Advanced hand-piece with a selection of soldering and SMD rework cartridges and the Metcal MX-DS1 De-soldering hand-piece for through-hole de-soldering. This configuration is ideal for mixed technology boards and provides the greatest versatility for addressing soldering and rework tasks.
