3M? 785C Fibre Disc contains a 3M high performance ceramic and aluminium oxide blend abrasive. This blend self sharpens and yields a high cut rate surpassing other conventional discs (Aluminium Oxide) in both performance and longevity. The abrasive is made on a fibre backing thats close-coated and resin bonded.
These high performance discs are made of reinforced fibres and Cubitron? ceramic abrasive. Heat-resistant treatment makes this product particularly recommended for use on stainless steel.
These products are used for operations that require removal of material, especially very hard material.
Discs are mounted on pads, stock no.: 337-3929 for ? 115 mm and 221-3769 for ? 127 mm. For use on angle grinders due to the standard bore of these 22 mm pads.
