Double-lip L seals are made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and can be used for peripheral speeds of up to 13 m/s (2600 ft/min). In all other aspects, they are the same as the G seal. However they are only available for metric shafts in housing sizes 507-522, as of March 2007. The double-lip L seals are identified by the designation prefix TSN, followed by the size identification and the suffix L, for example, TSN 511 L.
