A unique feature of these keypads is the insertable polycarbonate sheet carrying standard printed legends on one side - the other side can be user marked (written, typed or transferred symbols) to provide complete legend customisation and the removal of any limitation on keypad orientation
The legend for 4′4 and the 4′3 keypads, is formed by inserting two sheets, chosen from a set of 4 supplied with each keypad, into the two pockets of the keypad
4′1 keypad, requires one sheet (from the two supplied) to be inserted. Alternatively other suitable paper or polycarbonate legend sheets may be used
By punching holes in the legend sheet it is possible to provide individual key indication (via L.E.D.) and by use of a translucent legend sheet overall back illumination may be achieved
After inserting the legends, the self-adhesive keypad can be affixed on to any suitable clean flat surface
Flexible tail of the keypad may be terminated by means of a female connector to mate with PCB headers connectors e.g. see stock no 467-576
Each keypad has a black polycarbonate top layer with silver embossing and printing
Double-sided silver legend sheet has black legend printed on one side, with the other side blank
