The 86 series is a general purpose, standard keypad which has been designed for flange mounting. They can either be top-surface or sub-surface mounted depending on the requirements of the application. These units are unsealed and the snap-dome contacts provide positive feedback helping the user to be fully aware when a button has been pushed or not. They are available in 3x4, 4x4 and 5x4 configurations with units having either insert-able (available separately) or moulded-in legends. Each button has a life expectancy of 3,000,000 operations helping to reduce maintenance costs and increase reliability.
