The 60C series is a multi-function joystick but has the added functionality of a built in optical encoder and pushbutton. As a cursor control device this unit can eliminate the need for a stationary mouse or trackball providing all the same functions in a single, more compact design. They are ideally suited for automotive and aviation dashboards where having separate joystick, encoder and pushbutton may prove to be impractical due to space constraints. The joystick manipulates a cursor left, right, up and down; the rotary encoder facilitates sequential scrolling through menu options; and the pushbutton performs on-screen menu selects.
