MediSpec MPC (Medical Plastic Circular) plug connectors designed for use in medical applications. The housings of these plugs are made from Medical Grade PPSU that can withstand sterilization. Disposable versions, stock numbers 136-8232 and 136-8238 have polycarbonate housings. These medical plastic circular plugs feature an easy to use push-pull mating mechanism with a locking sleeve for quick and simple mating. The locking latch provides cable unmating forces of 50N min (D1 version) and 85 N min (D2 version). The disposable plugs have a non-locking passive latch. The terminal retainer assemblies of these medical circular connectors are factory potted providing a barrier against dust and moisture in all locations including unpopulated pin fields. Selective pin count and pin loading capability enable flexibility in contact usage and avoids wasted pins. The stamped and formed contacts for these MediSpec plug connectors offer a reliable electrical interface, high electrical performance and low contact resistance.
