The Taiyistone phenomenon was recorded twelve hundred years ago for its special medical benefit in the book of 《Ben Tsao Gang Mu》, which means category of herb medicine. Originally the official name of the stone was Muwen Jade, which means wood- grain- jade. This name came from its extreme resemblance to the flowing grain of precious rose wood. In the Forbidden City, the palace of the former Chinese Emperors, you will see a collection of wood jade tea pots that had been treasured by the Emperors over generations.
