These hermetic MIl-DTL-38999 jam nut receptacles feature improved EMI shielding, rapid triple-start thread with metal to metal coupling and they are 100% scoop proof and compatible with other Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors. Hermetically sealed connectors have airtight seals that prevent the invasion of oxygen, moisture, humidity, and any outside contaminant from entering a sealed control panel for example and degrading the internal components.
