The SITRANS LU150 and LU180 series from Siemens are short-range, non-contacting ultrasonic level measurement transmitters. They have been designed for liquid applications, mainly in the environmental and energy management industries. The transmitters are ideal for the continuous level measurement of liquids and slurries in open or closed vessels. The transmitter benefits from a fully encapsulated PVDF sensor which is resistant to corrosion, chemicals and extreme shock.
Due to having only two wires, the unit is simple to install and with its two-button interface, easy-to-use.
There are many mounting possibilities as there are four connections to choose from including the 4"" Tri-clamp designed for easy removal.
The level readings are reliably supplied by Sonic Intelligence Echo which processes Siemens refined algorithms. These algorithms provide an accurate, unique and effective transmitter exclusively from Siemens.
