Specifications
A position switch with cable control is an ideal form of emergency stop within large environments such as factories and production lines. Telemecanique Sensors presents the XY2CD, this position sensor is controllable from anywhere within a work area. Also known as a cable pull, rope pull or cord pull, cable or rope can be attached to the eye-let actuator, once the cable is pulled, the limit switch is triggered. This type of switch allows all users in an industrial or production setting access to an emergency stop no matter where they are situated.
The WY2CD can be connected via screwed terminal strips and also connected to a sensor via 3 PG11 sealing gland inputs. Featuring a blue unit, with plastic head has a body made from Zamak offering high impact and corrosion resistance whilst being heavy-duty. With a life cycle of up to 1500000 cycles, this switch is durable, rugged and reliable.
