The L21 single-beam photoelectric safety switch comprises a sender and a receiver. The correct function of the L21 switch can be checked with the aid of the test input on the sender. In connection with a suitable evaluation unit, e.g. UE410 Flexi, DeviceNet safety products, performance levels up to PL c in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 can be achieved.
