This PowerCat? cat6a patch panel features a shuttered 360° die-cast shielded DataGate? cat6a RJ45 connector which offers alien crosstalk suppression, insertion loss and provides enhanced (EMI) protection. The spring loaded shutter of the DataGate? RJ45 connector protects against contamination and also serves to eject improperly seated patch cords. The DataGate? connector is dual colour coded for either 568A or 568B wiring schedules and is backwards compatible with shielded cat6 and cat5e systems. The PowerCat? shielded cat6a patch panel is made from sheet metal and uses IDC V-shaped tin plated copper 22-24 AWG contacts that flex when terminated.
