The OsiSense XUM8 sensors are suitable for detecting a packed product, letter or parcel on a packaging line. Interference such as movement of a conveyor and other background noise is not an obstacle to these photoelectric detectors due to the integrated foreground suppression and background suppression functionality. The XUM8 sensors are easy to install using the visible red beam and all types of packaging, sizes and colours can be detected making the sensors ideal for all conveying applications within the packaging industry.
