A modular range able to incorporate a variety of sockets and switches into one back box makes the 56 series easy to install and highly flexible. Featuring industrial and commercial wiring accessories, the 56 series is available in pre-built or modular component form.
With an IP66 level of protection these sockets are weatherproof, dust-proof and watertight. Manufactured from polycarbonate they also offer maximum impact resistance making them heavy duty and reliable in harsh environments. Each socket in this range features a clear or transparent hose-proof flap and a snap catch latch, this allows the voltage rating to be indicated and makes visual inspection simple. Both plain and screw ring plugs are accommodated by the sockets which allows for the number of variations required. Schneider Electrics 56 series also offers mounting enclosures allowing more than one socket to be connected with plenty of room for easy wiring and installation.
