The 1414 series junction boxes have a body formed from 14 or 16 gauge steel with the covers being formed from 14 gauge steel. They have been designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures.
They are IP54 rated and thus provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, dust, oil and water.

• Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting

• Internal threaded weld studs are provided for mounting inner panels
• A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is provided in the enclosure
