The 1418 series junction boxes have a body formed from 0.08 (body) and 0.100 (door) inch type 5052 H-32 aluminium. They have been designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures.
They are IP66 rated thus providing protection where nearby equipment may need to be hosed down or in applications where the environment is very wet such as outdoor applications.
The cover and enclosure are a natural unfinished aluminium and the removable inner panel has been finished in a white powder coating.
• Formed from 2.05 mm (body) / 2.54 mm (door) type 5052 H-32 aluminium
• Smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cut-outs or holes
• Door and body stiffeners are provided in the larger enclosures for extra rigidity

• Aluminium continuous hinge on door may be removed by pulling the aluminium hinge pin
