A range of Power Double Lock (PDL) free hanging plug and socket housings available with a 3.96mm or 6.5mm centreline for wire to wire and wire to board applications. These Power Double Lock (PDL) connectors have a compact design, are fully polarized with latching for secure mating and are used in conjunction with a double lock plate to help prevent partial mating of the contacts. The housing lance design of these Power Double Lock connector housings provides no lance on contacts and helps to prevent entanglement of contacts with one another. Typical applications for these Power Double Lock connectors include power circuit applications in refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, gas equipment, photocopiers and vending machines.
