The Hammond 1554 series is a watertight enclosure moulded in grey ABS plastic with a flammability rating of UL94 HB. The two piece tongue & groove construction provides IP66 protection against oil, dust and water. The enclosure interior has DIN rail mounting tabs and vertical P.C. card guides (for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards).

• Separate pre-formed (and replaceable) silicone rubber gasket
• Designed to meet IP66 & NEMA 4, 4X, 12 & 13 ratings
• Lid is secured with self-captive M4 stainless steel machine screws (included), threaded into integral stainless steel bushings
• All stainless steel hardware to avoid corrosion caused by dissimilar metals
• Lid screws are self-captive (lid holes are threaded with the first installation of lid screws)
• Moulded internal DIN rail mounting tabs (except 1554CGY & 1554DGY)
• Threaded M3 integral brass inserts and/or standoffs (depending on size) for P.C. board or inner panel mounting in all but the smallest size (1554BGY)
• Vertical P.C. card guides (for 1.5 mm boards) are moulded in all but the smallest size enclosure (1554BGY)
