Hammond Manufacturing 1590X Diecast Aluminum Enclosures are rugged and easy to machine electronic instrument enclosures.These enclosures provide low wide wall draft angles (2 degrees or less) for easy mounting of printed circuit board. 1590X are lap joint constructed to provide protection against access of dust and splashing water, as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding. These enclosures provide the unpainted version in vibra finish to assure no sharp edges. The satin black version is painted with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining. 1590X enclosures are available with four (4) 6-32 x 1/2" machine screws to secure the lid into factory tapped holes
