Type 55? wire is insulated with modified radiation cross-linked ETFE polymer. The dual wall Airframe construction of type 55? wire is used on numerous aircraft programmes. Also for industrial applications where high temperature rating is required. Dual wall has a 0.25mm total wall thickness & a contrasting core colour (blue) to act as a damage indicator.
