DF60 series 10.16mm pitch vertical and right angle PCB mounting board to wire header connectors that are capable of carrying a current of up to 45 A. These DF60 series headers have a secure locking mechanism that produces a tactile and audible click when mating and a reliable 5 point contact structure is provided through the use of three independent contact springs. The housings of these DF60 series pin headers are made from black UL94V-0 glass-reinforced PBT to prevent solder cracks caused by thermal contraction, guide keys prevent mis-insertion and moulded pins on the base of the housing provides PCB mounting retention. The wall structure between the contacts prevents short circuiting.
