Orchid Energy Subs range from 4 3/4" to 9 1/2" OD. below is a few of the subs in our range, other types are available and can be manufactured to suit customer specific requirements.
A short sub assembly used to enable two components with different thread types or sizes to be connected. Also it can be used to protect other tooling in drill stem (called saver sub) or be used to deliver outgoing air to the bit face just above the bit (called bit sub). Orchid Energy Co can supply crossover subs come in three basic types: A Pin (male) * Box (female); B Pin (male) * Pin (male); C Box (female) * Box (female).
the length of crossover subs is generally measured from shoulder to shoulder. Typical lengths range from 6" - 28" long going up in increments of 2 inches with AISI 4145H, AISI 4145H Mod or Non-magnetic material according to API 7-1. All connections are phosphate-coated or copper plated to improve resistance to corrosion.
Lifting sub is the special tools for lifting of the drill tools in petroleum, natural gas industry and geologic exploration.
Orchid Energy Co Lifting subs are one-piece construction and manufactured from 4145M or 4140HT alloy steel. the Lift Sub can be divided into sloping shoulder (18 degree) and straight shoulder (90 degree), All lifting subs are complied with API standard.
