CBM is spring applied air release pneumatic tooth brake, tooth and tooth plate connection for braking. It is widely applied for robot arm, mechanical hand and other joints parts.

CBM model pneumatic tooth brake working theory:
Normally, braking springs compressed piston end tooth and hollow shaft tube end tooth, brake is in braked status. after supplying air pressure, piston moves towards to and compresses braking springs in the direction of fixed base spline, both ends of tooth separated, brake released.
Note: CBM model brake only used in low speed working situation. It is only suitable for low speed or standby connection.
