DBK pneumatic multiple caliper disc brake is also a friction type air engagement brake, it is widely applied in packing and printing machine for braking or tension control. this DBK CX250 multiple caliper disc brake is composed of some pieces of points brakes.
DBK250 multiple caliper disc brake is also called CX250 cooling fan multi-disc brake, it is driven by air pressure. DBK model air caliper disc brake is composed of lining, piston, air chamber, fan cover, braking disc, fixed bolt, fixed frame and so on. this brake relies on air pressure to brake, return springs to release. after supplying air pressure, piston pushes friction plate moved towards to and compressed braking disc, producing resisting torque, until disc and other rotating parts stopped, brake linked. When exhausting air pressure, piston and friction plate back and separated with braking disc by return springs, brake released. Its response is sensitive, torque control precise. Piston sealing part is without oil. Lining thickness is 10mm, max abrasion 6mm. When lining abrasion reached to 6mm, using screwdriver to take out head inside screw through hole of disc with hub to replace lining.
