Oil Only Polypropylene Absorbent PADS are oleophillic (attract oil ) and hydrophobic (repel water), they are perfect for the clean up and maintenance of everyday oil and fuel leaks, drips and spills. whether the use is indoors, outdoors, land or sea; these oleophilic, highly absorbent pads are designed to deliver absorbing performance with a sense of urgency while retaining absorbed spills. They are used to absorb oil, fuel, diesel, petrol and other hydrocarbons and are ideal for workshops, warehouses, loading docks, factories, transport depots, fuel and oil-handling facilities, vehicle repair shops and maintenance workshops.
- Oil and fuel absorbents are made from meltblown polypropylene and are Colour-coded white for easy identification. these absorbents are able to absorb up to 20 times their own weight in oil and have a fast-wicking action to clean up spills quickly. Meltblown standard oil only sorbents are typically used to skim oil off of water. the open fiber construction draws hydrocarbon-based fluids into the center of the pads and/or rolls, while repelling water.
