Application
Copper Sealed Cast Iron Penstocks (Square) are widely used in water supply and drainage projects, e.g. Irrigation, flood control, water conservancy, hydropower plants, sewage works and water supply plants etc., in order to cut off or dredge water flow.
Structure and working mechanism
Copper Sealed Cast Iron Penstock (Square) adopts the visible rod structure, and adopts the plane reinforcing type or plugboard type installation, suitable for installing on walls as rod-lifting gate where a square hole is pre-constructed. Its flat bottom is closely attached to the surface of the structure. Penstock uses hoist to drive the screw to rotate, it can be equipped with a manual hoist and an electric hoist to push the screw under the trapezoidal thread action, cutting off or dredging the water flow.
